Ubuntu
Ubuntu operating system is named after the ethical principle ubuntu which means "Humantiy towards others".Ubuntu as like other linux flavors has lot of built in packages which are open source and free to use.Ubuntu concentrates on the ease of user interface which makes it suitable for test riders from other platforms.Ubuntu has Gnome as it default user interface.The Ubuntu operating system is multilingual and supports 55 languages.There are two other versions namely the kubuntu and edubuntu which are derived from ubuntu.

OpenLx offers a desktop operating system with easy to use functionalities .As a general feature of linux the os is free from viruses.This version of linux includes many application software and some common productivity softwares.The openLx starter pack known as OpenLx desktop has features which are enough for a common computer user.There are also packs for power users and enterprise separately.
